A slightly shorter chapter, so I should be able to get it all into one post. And now the angst begins.

( Chapter 3: A foreigner in his own land )

So I'm doing the 11/11/11 challenge today, which means that so far today I've finished Chapter 2 and written the entirety of Chapter 3. So I'm going to put that up before I go any farther, because posting a giant backlog of story all at once....eh. Not so interesting!

So without further ado, ( The second half of chapter two! )

I hit 17.5k last night, which is awesome, because it was my goal for the end of the first week, so now I'm ahead by everything I manage to write before midnight.

Herein we've got some secrets, some unicorns, and some pillow forts. It's a bit of an odd mix, but that's the Maddens for you.

( Chapter 2: The last long days of summer )

A much shorter part than last time, but these two scenes round out what I think ought to be the first chapter, so have them where they stand instead of connected to the following bits.

I'm at 9k! And haven't even started Friday's writing, so that much rules. :D :D

I posted the first 6k of my NaNo novel today, so quick to try and get out the door that I didn't even really give it a header.  Making up for that now: truths about my NaNoWriMo!
